Confused? You Might Be a Very Loved, Rich Girl…

Have you ever tried on a new personality, new look, or lifestyle trying to figure out who you are? I have. It took years of disappointment and failure to find the real me before I gave up the search. I got lots of my misguided ideas from tv shows, magazines, novel characters, and people in media that I admired. It was six years ago that my tortured search came to an end.

I came from a troubled family and married into the same. My childhood was like being an orphan but I lived in a family. There are many discussions about this type of family dynamic but I won’t go there. This kind of experience left me with no idea who I was. My search ended when I found a bible promise book that list  around thirty scriptural declarations of who the believer is in Christ. It took months of praying these verses over myself before I internalized these beautiful truths about me. Now I know the glorious truths about my identity.

…having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:5-6  I am accepted and adopted into the beloved.

“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:26  I am a child of God.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3  I am blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing in Christ.

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions–it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5  I am alive in Christ, forever.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39  Nothing can take the love of God from me.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”  John 15:1-5  I am connected to my savior and as long as I stay that way, I can flourish in life.

You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.” Psalm 139:1  God knows me and still loves me!

“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15  I am a friend of God.

I could go on and on with this very good news. But I will leave you with these to ponder. What does it it all mean? I have the DNA of Christ, My daddy is the creator of the universe. My counselor is the Holy Spirit. I live above the chaos and rancor. I can speak the word of God and send the enemy away when he is aggravating me. I am part of a royal family. Does this sound good to you? Do you want to rule and reign in life. Do you want to be loved with an everlasting love?  Make Jesus your savior and Lord and in giving up the old you, you will gain everything! You will be a very loved, rich girl.

Practical things that loved, rich girls do:

-take good care of themselves and their families: eat healthy, delicious foods in moderation

-care for their bodies with soothing baths and showers and a nice moisturizer afterward

-care for the image they are presenting by putting on well-fitting, clothes in their best colors

-keep their hair shiny and soft with ph balanced, sulfate free shampoo and conditioner; add extra product to tame wild hair

-look well after their relationships with kindness, helpfulness, willingness to listen and learn, willingness to be honest, loyalty

-looks after their home environment with peace, healing, nurturing, making home as pleasant and comfy as possible

-fight fear at its root through prayer and spiritual warfare.

This is not your list, it’s God’s. Pray and ask Him to help you become (sanctification) the best woman you can be. In Christ, our potential is beyond imagination. “I can do all things through Christ…” that’s what the bible says in Philippians 4:13.

I like these reasonably priced products for help taking care of myself:

These three unsponsored products are some favorites. The quality and results reliably produce soft skin and soft hair.

Please don’t try to do any of these things without God’s help. He loves us as real women and we never need to apologize to Him for who He made us to be. Shiny hair and a dull guilt-ridden spirit won’t help you in your transformation. Trust god. Lean on Him. Ask Him and He will say, “Yes and amen.” He want to help us. Stay in the promises of God. Pray them out loud like an announcement to yourself and the world. Don’t let your mind steal you away from the truth. I am who He says I am…
